Japheth is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts (Social Work) from Moi University, as well as a Diploma in Social Work from Kenya School of Government (KSG) Embu. He pursued further studies attaining an Advanced Diploma in Technical Trainer Education from Kenya School of Tvet, Gigiri. He is also a trained teacher in Special Needs Education as well as Early Childhood Education. Currently he is pursuing Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation of Population and Development at The University of Nairobi.
Japheth has over 10 years’ experience in both Social Work industry and TVET sector. He has served in different government and private organizations in various capacities; including as a Social Development Officer, Probation Officer and a Child Protection Officer. Prior to joining the Institute, Japheth was serving as a TVET Trainer at The Nairobi National Polytechnic, Liberal Studies Department.
He is an accredited trainer by TVETA, as well as an Assessor/Verifier by TVET/CDACC. Japheth is a highly motivated, result-oriented, and a team player focused on attaining Organizational set goals and objectives.
